A bit of history
A long family tradition
Meli srl was born in 1983 from the passion and enthusiasm of Luigi Meli, the current owner. Raised in a family of merchants, Mr. Meli then specialized in the processing and trading of almonds.
The long experience in the field has allowed the company to place itself among the most important companies in the sector. The family-run business sees the active participation of Luisa, Mr. Luigi's daughter, and a team of qualified professionals.
Attention to quality and detail
We purchase the almond in shell and then start a process that leads to the elimination of all impurities.
The work process continues with shelling and/or peeling and manual selection of the product. Once selected, the almond is calibrated, packaged and prepared for sale.

In addition to different types of almonds, we deal with other products such as pistachios, walnuts, hazelnuts, pine nuts and sesame. All processed foods come from Sicilian territories, famous throughout the world for the cultivation of these specialties.
